WORLD MARKET
We are working on planning a special event, but we need YOUR help to make it a success! The Little Explorers Lab World Market will be a vibrant market where young makers will sell their handmade crafts, and visit family-hosted cultural tables filled with treasures, treats, and traditions from many countries!
We are looking for children of any age to make handmade crafts to sell for REAL money at the event! The children will create their own item, decide on a price, and then sell it during the event. Families will need to provide a table for their items (a tent is recommended). Why this benefits your child? Children learn about creating a product and how a market (and money!) works! They practice their creativity and social skills by interacting with customers.
One of the reasons I love Houston is because of its diversity! We have had so many families from around the world come play at our lab, and we want to celebrate that! We are looking for families from different countries around the world to host a table with items from your home country! You are welcome to provide treats or a craft that goes along with your country. Include things like: Country Flag, Trinkets, Games & Toys, Musical Instruments, Ornaments, etc.
